Charlotte hope
Charlotte trained at the French theatre school, Jacques LeCoq. Notable recent roles include the titular role of Catherine of Aragon in the Starz series The Spanish Princess, which ran for two seasons. She is also known for her work in Game of Thrones as Myranda, the sadistic lover of Ramsey Bolton in seasons three to six, in New Line Cinema’s The Nun and in Jon Avnet’s Three Christs, in which she plays the female lead opposite Richard Gere, Bradley Whitford, Walton Goggins and Peter Dinklage. She recently starred as Alma Kinnaird in Julian Fellowes’s Netflix mini-series The English Game. This project saw her reunite with director Birgitte Staermouse, who directed her in the first two episodes of Starz's The Spanish Princess Part One. Since the pandemic, Charlotte has worked on several features in London and in the US. They are currently in post-production. These include The Piper (Millennium feature), The Chelsea Cowboy (UK indie) and Bury Me When I’m Dead (US indie)
Charlotte has also starred on stage in London and New York. She made her stage debut in Buried Child, at the Trafalgar Studios, directed by Scott Elliott and starring alongside Ed Harris. She went on to work with Scott and Ed again in New York in the New Group’s production of David Rabe’s Good for Otto, at the Pershing Square Signature Centre. In 2017 she also appeared in Rupert Goold’s original production of Albion, written by Mike Bartlett, at the Almeida theatre.
