Mark Rowley
Mark started off his professional career at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Here he learned from some of the industries best teachers that undoubtedly helped shape his career. While training he managed to kick start his love of TV and Film by working alongside the award winning actor Jason Isaacs in ‘Case Histories’.
Mark’s recent credits include ONE DAY (NETFLIX), THE EYE, WITCHER (NETFLIX); CITADEL (Amazon); Domina (SKY) The Spanish Princess (STARZ); The Last Kingdom, playing the season regular Finan (NETFLIX); ‘Guns Akimbo’ working alongside Daniel Radcliffe; Bian in ‘The North Water' working with Colin Farrell (BBC); the WW2 drama ‘Home Fires’ (ITV); Rivercity (BBC) and Young Dracula (BBC). He is also the youngest actor yet to take on the part of Macbeth on film - in a full green screen studio to add. Mark has also been lucky enough to play many voice over roles in big hit computer games such as Star Wars, Battlefield, Assassin's Creed.... (he is a bit of a gaming nerd). Professional theatre credits include ‘The James Plays’ playing the leading role of William Douglas on the Olivier Stage, National Theatre London.

'Acting has to be fun. I love nothing more than helping other creatives delve deep beneath the text and discover something they did not even know was there... Part of our job is to discover, embrace new ideas we have and deliver a performance that the director/producers truly values. This helps build a reputation: That you are really good at your job and can work well under pressure... You even thrive on it! When I have the time, I’m always keen to help others and unlock their full potential’

What Actors & Clients have said
“Mark is a fantastic and generous coach. He brings his own humanity to his role as teacher, giving insights into the nuances of things like one's movement or mental state. He redirects, but also encourages. He helps bring out each actor's unique strengths in the scenes they are performing. It has been a real treat learning from an actor who is actively employed in the film industry and has so much experience on set. Taking Mark's class was a rare opportunity for which I am very grateful. I left each session stewing over what was taught, but also feeling lighter and laughing, as Mark brings his genuine sense of humour to everything he does. His passion for his craft is truly evident, as is his desire to help others in the community of actors around the world."

"I can’t begin to thank you enough for what has been an inspiring month of classes. Sharing with us your knowledge and experience. It’s been incredible knowing how you prepare for a role and how you break down a script. One thing I have really picked up on your use of ‘Hope’. Thank you for pushing me to be brave."
