The Actor’s Community does not allow anyone to video record any session/class/coaching/workshop and upload it to any social media. This is for the protection of our actors/coaches/directors and your fellow students. Failure to do so will result in a permanent ban and potential legal prosecution. If well established actors/directors can not teach in a safe environment, then the idea of passing on professional insight can not take place. Please respect this community rule.
However, for accent coaching, the vocal expert may record the session for your use only, to hear back the session so you may work at perfecting the accent etc. If they do record the session they will ask for your permission to do so.
The website is accessible to everyone coming onto the page but some pages are only available once registered as a member of The Actor’s Community. You will not be allowed to take part in any class/coaching session/workshop/masterclass without being a member first.

Coaching
For all sessions that take place on Zoom, we require all members to have their camera on and remain clearly seen during the duration. This is to safeguard all members.
An email will be sent out prior to your coaching start time. This will include an appointment date, time and Zoom meeting link. Please be on time for your session. Your coach will reach out to you to introduce themselves - if you have any material for the coach to look over then please send it in at least 2 hours before the session start time. The more time the coach has to look over the material, the more they can help, so get it over to them as soon possible.
Please be aware that there is a strict 48hr cancelation policy. If you can’t make a coaching session then please email bookings@theactorscommunity.org and arrange another time and date for the session. If you contact bookings@theactorscommunity.org after the 48hrs period start time, then it is at the discretion of the coach whether they can accommodate another time and date. We will always try to accommodate you if you do miss the 48hrs notice period. Please be mindful that some coaches and experts are very limited with time due to professional working commitments in the industry.
When canceling a coaching session(s) 48hrs before the start time and require a refund, please email bookings@theactorscommunity.org and we can assist you in this request. Please allow 5 working days (Monday - Saturday) for any payments to be refunded.
If you are late or do not turn up for your booked session, online or in person, you will still be charged for the full amount for coaching session/group session and will not be able to claim for a refund.

Classes and workshops
For all sessions that take place on Zoom, we require all members to have their camera on and remain clearly seen during the duration. This is to safeguard all members.
An email will be sent out from your coach prior to your class/workshop/study group start time. The email may include attachments that may be used in the up and coming classes/workshops/study groups. Please read the instructions from the coach carefully as you may have preparation work for the session. This will include an appointment date, time and Zoom meeting link. If your classes/workshop(s) span over several days/weeks then a Zoom link will be sent out 10 minutes before the class start time on each occasion, so please check your email inbox for this link. Do not be late for your session as the class/workshop/study group will start without you.
Please be aware that there is a strict 48hr cancelation policy. If you can’t make any class(es) or workshop(s) or study group session(s) then please email bookings@theactorscommunity.org 48hrs in advance to the class start time. If it is after 48hrs then you will be charged in full. If you can’t make it and have contacted bookings@theactorscommunity.org 48hrs before the class/workshop/study group session, you can book a new class/workshop/study group session in the future. If this is not possible, due to a coach or industry professional not being available or if it was a limited one time offer/event, then you can claim a refund.
If you decide to cancel a class or workshop and have asked for a refund 48hrs before the class/workshop start time, then please allows 5 working days (Monday - Saturday) for any payments to be refunded.
If you are late or do not turn up for your booked class/workshop, online or in person, you will still be charged the full amount and will not be able to claim for a refund.
Any no shows (if you do not turn up for the arranged time and date) will be charged in full and not be able to claim a refund.
If we have to cancel a class/workshop/coaching session/study group session, due to a coach/industry professional having a professional commitment, you will be refunded the full amount. Please give us 5 working days to refund all payments.
For a full refund please email your coach or email bookings@theactorscommunity.org 48 hours before you class start time. Please be aware that all accepted refunds may take up to 5 working days to go back to your account/card that you paid from.
You must be 18 years or older to join a class/coaching session/workshop.
Please be aware that this is a private engagement between you and the coach/industry professional you have chosen to work with. The Actors Community is not liable or responsible for anything that happens during the coaching session(s)/class/workshop(s) study group session(s).

Modifications to the service and prices
Prices for our services are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service without notice at any time. If this is the case we will refund you for the cost of your coaching session(s)/class/workshop(s).
We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

Services
Certain services may be available exclusively online. For these sessions, we require all participants to have their camera on and remain clearly seen during your class/workshop/free event in order to ensure safeguarding of all our members. If you have booked a session or a class with us please be aware that they will be conducted through a third party application called Zoom. This is an online platform that will allow you and the coach/class/to connect online. YOU WILL NEED AN INTERNET CONNECTION AND IT MUST HAVE SUFFICIENT OPERATING SPEEDS SO NO LAG OCCURS. If you do proceed knowing that your internet may not be strong enough to support an online chat you will not be able to claim a refund. If for whatever reason, we (one of our coaches) experience internet issues and the session fails via Zoom, another session will be arranged or you can claim a full refund. Zoom may obtain certain details from yourself, but we will not be liable for any data related issues regarding this third party application. This is completely at your own risk. Sales
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities services that we offer. All descriptions of services are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any service at any time. Any offer for any service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

Accuracy of billing and account information
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and phone number provided the you joined the community. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit any bookings.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made online. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and contact details, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
You agree that your comments will not violate any right of any third-party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary right. You further agree that your comments will not contain unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website. You may not use a false e‑mail address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third-parties as to the origin of any comments. You are solely responsible for any comments you make and their accuracy.
